We had used the AmericInn in Newton several times, so were a bit disappointed with this AmericInn. Not nearly as nice and restaurants/services were much further from this hotel. Also, the staff was usually one person and if that person was on the phone, you were just out of luck.

Our bathroom sink water smelled like rotten eggs! When the problem was brought to the attention of the manager he said the water was like ocean water?? We asked him to switch rooms and he agreed! The new room was fine but the toilet seat was broken and there were no instructions on how to get the tv to work! After about 20 minutes we of trying we figured it out on our own. The eggs at breakfast were terrible and the three thermoses of coffee were empty!

Clean and comfortable room, fun pool time & great breakfast. Only drawback was toilet, which needed to be reseated (whole thing moved when you sat), and it clogged repeatedly.

Our room was very nice and big we had a king bed. The mattress was so comfortable and they gave you 4 king size pillows. Staff was very nice and the motel was very quiet. Breakfast was OK same thing both days but it did its job. The pool was nice and the hot tub was nice just to relax.

You really need to do something about your breakfast. Powdered eggs are just awful. No meat but greasy sausage. Waffle machine typical. Bananas only fruit. Water has terrible taste making coffee and tea bad.

My 17 year daughter and I arrived very late to check in - 1:00 am. Gentlemen at the front desk was very nice. When we went to enter our room with the key, we discovered that our room door was open. When we went down and asked for a different room, as I did not feel safe entering the room with my daughter, we received resistance. The gentlemen was now very short with us and had to go to the back room to see if he could give us another room. Eventually he gave us a new room with discussed.
