Even though there may be pictures of a beach, there isn’t one on the property. The people of the island are very friendly and hospitable. The staff is very hospitable; however, be prepared for jaw dropping, turtle paced service. I ordered room service at 5:15P for delivery at 7P to make up for the slowness, and still didn’t get it until 9:30P. Trying to talk to management also lead to ghosting and overpromises. We paid extra for pool view and we experienced noisy parties throughout our stay. When they hold special events, they happen at the expense of paying guests, so be prepared for lack of seating and service at dining. Since I was warned about slow service by a previous guest, it seems to be something the resort has been doing for a while, and Hyatt doesn’t seem to want to change it. This is unfortunate because I think if this changed, the resort would be amazing.

The hotel was nice, the food was good, however my room #625 had a big plumbing issue, anytime the guess above us showered, we could hear the water draining really loud, it was very noisy, informed the manager and nothing was done. On the other hand, Julia the guest yoga trainer was very good, I had a great time with her. She asked me what areas of my body I wanted to do, she listened and helped me with my aches and pains, I will only consider going back again if she is still there.

A real ass review
Everyone was pleasant - resort was beautiful and for all inclusive drinks were good. A few things to keep in mind: - for TAXIS download 24/7 Curacao it is an app and super easy to use - sheets are very thin there is an extra one in the closet but pull out right away to air it out - service is BEYOND slow, room service took 2 hours on average to get it so order early and don’t be in a rush - Food was okay, if you are vegan this is not the place for you we had a mixed party so half of us ate well but food was often not seasoned as well. My favorite was the shrimp skewers. Coffee was beyond disgusting but with a good machine cleaning they should be able to figure that out - if you want to leave the resort they do have an option for you to rent a car which is MUCH cheaper than getting taxis every where I would highly recommend this - we LOVED the town BUT it is COMPLETELY CLOSED ON SUNDAYS! Not one person mentioned that - booking through hotels.com we had a a VIP package with $200 in vouchers we did not receive that until the last 24 hours and our second group never received it. - BRING FLOATIES for the pool! - Hot tub could use a little cleaning - room service is not truly 24 hours you can not get towels or any room needs past midnight - this is also not a party island which was fine for us but if that what you want don’t come. - don’t really need cash but you can bring some for tipping (not a big thing but we tipped anyway) - most of the country does NOT take Amex

Upon arrival they say, “Welcome home.” Home and family is what made us choose Zoetry in Curacao after spending last year at Zoetry Marigot Bay. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are nothing less than family. From Germainly in guest services to Max and Dominique, our check-in and getting back and forth to Dreams was effortless. You can’t help but remember family and they left a fun and priceless impression that my wife and I will forever remember. Latoya, Jason and Deon were the perfect mixologists to accompany great food, relaxation and comfort. I will definitely be back and I hope that Latoya, Jason, Deon, Max, Germainly and last but definitely not the least, Dominique are apart of our journey back home. Thank you so much Zoetry for exceeding our anniversary expectations and we can’t wait to see you (our family) again and again!! Please believe me when I tell you, the steak was heavenly.
