Attention to details was lacking. Beach wasn't raked to remove trash from the ocean. Landscaping away from reception area was not well groomed. Some maintenance items were overlooked. In general, this resort doesn't live up to Marriott standards.

The food ill say is great. 10/10. The outlets were faulty which resulted in one person in my room to have a broken phone, and the other it smoked & sparked. Rooms are clean. Beach is very small though. Very rocky. Id give property a 7/10

Hotel staff, rooms and grounds were perfect. Beach is amazing and spacious. My only complaint is that there are limited food options outside the hotel and a car is a must.

The hotel was beautiful very quiet and relaxing the breakfast buffet we paid extra for when booking was worth it the food was amazing many options the rooms were very very clean the only complaint was we were placed in a room near construction on the main floor we did book through Expedia and paid extra for a balcony room which we did receive a ground level floor the room was very nice staff were super friendly and dining etc we mainly stayed at the resort took a cab a view times to renassiance casino there’s a places you can walk to about 10 mins where you pick your fish and they cook it for you wish was good and fair priced recommended ordering snorkel gear and floats on Amazon before you arrive they do sell at hotel but pricey $80 for snorkel set honestly Curacao was a perfect quiet relaxing vacation they had live music at night definitely not like Aruba if your looking for party and night life but 5 nights was perfect amount of time to rest and recharge I never really here about too many people traveling to Curacao the airport home we were told to get there 2 1/2 to 3 hrs early we went right through security wasn’t like aruba very quick anyway would definitely recommend this resort and would love to come back thank you for a great time marriott

Higher expectations
We traveled for our honeymoon and let me say it was a terrible experience. We had higher expectations than what we experienced. When we arrived we were told a restaurant was under construction there for they would be providing a shuttle to the neighboring restaurant less than half a mile away. When we were waiting for our room to be ready we went to the bar to order a drink and was told one of the drinks on the menu was unavailable. Then we decided to stay in the room for the afternoon and order dessert, we were then told they were out of dessert (it was 5pm). The next day on the beach there was one to two servers serving and taking orders, however we were only able to use it once my husband had to be getting us our drinks. The first morning I ordered from the menu not the buffet and the French toast was cold. At night we wanted to check out the restaurants they had next door through the shuttle service, we were told it was broken and had to pay 50 dollars for a 0.5 mile ride plus wait 40 minutes to get back to the hotel. We then got massages which were wonderful, but heard the construction the entire time. Our last night we wanted room service asked two employees if we could order onsite and they said yes. We ordered, and then got a call back they could not, then later were told one of the items we ordered was not supposed to be on the menu. Save your money and time and book at another property. Very disappointed especially since it is not supposed to be a 2 star hotel.
