It’s an old building and has a smell that you just can’t ignore. That is our biggest complaint. However, taking the age of this place into consideration, they’ve done a very good job keeping it clean. The beds were comfortable and we all slept like babies. The parking lot has more than enough spaces to accommodate full rooms. The staff was very nice and attentive. We loved how the rooms have a printed off note explaining their why and instructions on how to use the TV. We loved that they have legit cable as most hotels we have stayed at do not. Overall, I would recommend staying here. Affordable. Quiet. Accommodating. Convenient.

We were so thankful to have this property to check into on our road trip home. We arrived around 9:00pm and were greeted with such enthusiasm. The room was just what we needed and we were able to come in, shower, eat and get into bed without any second thought.

I love a motel, and this one is a GEM. Redone, renewed, reworked a vintage motel into the perfect stop. The Cleanliness is amazing. Parking at your door. Friendly staff, Several dining options, Isabella’s was recommended, and was a good Mexican meal. Rose’s Motel has a no smoking, no burning policy, “ if it burns take it outside”! There is ample seating near the doors of the rooms. Oh, and did I mention how clean this place is? There is no in room coffee or typical hotelish breakfast, but at this value it’s not a big deal, cafe next door. Next time I travel I-10 this is my stop.

Historic comfort
Rose's Motel has done a splendid job of refurbishing an older roadside establishment. It exhibits a modern twist on a bygone era of comfort for the traveler. Will definitely stay there again.

Shelly was very helpful with checking in and advice on restaurants. They are updating the rooms, so most are very comfortable. Only issue the hair dryer didn't work. Called the office and soon had a working hair dryer.

Shelly and the staff were fantastic. They have done a really nice job with renovating the motel. The rooms we had did have odors from years past perhaps which was the only negative to speak of. Bottom line I would stay there again when in Wilcox.

Funky, old-fashioned (& renovated) motel. Very nice and neat place to stay. Love the patio area behind it; too bad it's too chilly to fully enjoy it. Shelly at the front desk was so nice! If it weren't for the close proximity of the train tracks, we'd probably give it 5 stars all around!

This is an older motel probably built in the 50s or 60s, however it’s been well kept up. The room was immaculately clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was tiny and the bathroom door would not close and latch, although it closed enough to give privacy. Shelly in the office is a very friendly person and was a pleasure to talk to and deal with. There is no coffee or breakfast offered, and no coffee makers in the room. However they offer unlimited bottled water so there’s no reason to get dehydrated.
