The private suite is described as impeccably clean and is located next to the mighty Yukon River, offering a great spot to view the Aurora Borealis. The suite has a garden view and there are chickens nearby.
The suite itself is spacious and features warm feather duvets for added comfort. Guests can enjoy various activities such as having a bonfire on the river bank, canoeing to downtown, hiking or biking on the trails behind the house, bouncing on the trampoline, or relaxing in the cast iron wood-fired bathtub.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes coffee, tea, and spices. Guests can also enjoy Starlink WiFi. Additionally, there is a tiny house on the property that can be rented to expand the available space, making it suitable for larger groups.
The location is near the hospital and backing onto great biking trails. It is also a short walk to the best swimming lake and is surrounded by forest. Despite the natural surroundings, guests can easily reach downtown by canoeing or biking in 10-15 minutes.
Guests also have access to a fire pit, trampoline, wood-fired hot tub (note that it takes 3-4 hours to heat the water), and a mini-deck on the river.
Please note that this is a private guest accommodation and not a shared space. Guests have their own kitchen and bathroom facilities. The hosts live next door and can provide assistance and answer any questions.
The location is surrounded by nature, allowing guests to experience the Yukon's beauty. However, it is still close enough to town to go out for dining, drinks, and dancing.
Guests can enjoy a self-serve breakfast, including coffee, tea, eggs, cereal, pancake mix, and milk.
We welcome pets but ask that they remain on the main floor to reduce fur and accommodate guests with allergies. If this doesn't work for you and your pet, please let us know, and we’ll try to find a solution, which may include an additional pet fee.
Please remember to dispose of toilet paper in the garbage bin provided.
