Easy on/off hwy,staff was wonderful,helpful,cheerful. The only thing that was a miss was the gap between inside door and the frame. Without the dead bolt I wouldn't have felt safe. Had a great stay and alot of option for breakfast.

Just a great place to stay. Clean, safe and an added bonus of a basket of snacks to help yourself too, plus a coffee area with delicious shortbread. Great breakfast. Would stay there any time.

Just off the interstate - large room, a much larger variety of items for breakfast than other hotels and very friendly staff. This hotel seemed quite popular with travelers. We did not hear any interstate noise. If you are uncomfortable with stairs make sure to ask for a 1st floor room.

Bathroom was dirty. No hot water either morning. Shower head was disgusting. Toilet barely flushed. King size bed very uncomfortable. Also very noisy. Upstairs guests as well as neighboring unit. Seems like zero insulation between units. Also, outside maintenance made a ton of noise disconnecting a garden hose at a spigot under the window at 10:30 pm. Whitehall doesn’t have many overnight stay options. I’m hoping my experience is not typical of Jefferson Inn.

The Jefferson's Lobby is only staffed from 7:00 AM until 10:00 PM. Before noon on the day of our arrival, I received a text message informing me that the lobby would close at 10, and if we intended to arrive later than that, we could reply "Yes." When I replied "Yes," I promptly received another text with very explicit instructions about how to gain access to our room, afterhours. When we, the travel weary couple, arrived at nearly midnight, the room was ready, and access was available, as instructed, as easily as if someone had been on-duty. Thank you!!

Check in was great, Lady was helpful kind and friendly. They gave you free snacks, which was a nice touch Now for the negative, we got a two queen regular room. I never write reviews, but Room was not for someone older or with certain health issues. No boxsprings, mattresses were very low to the ground it was on frame with pull out drawers, The toilet was very low to the ground, no bars or room if you are a bigger or plus size person. No light between the beds, need lamps. There was one uncomfortable metal chair to sit and watch TV. No USB plug in Door didn’t lock proper, Furnace vent needs to be cleaned. we were told it was about 20 minutes from Bozeman, really was 56 miles away. Today we are backtracking to go to big sky. The town seemed quaint.

Older hotel, staff friendly, office limited hours available though. Hotel was clean. Not a lot of bells and whistles but good for an overnighter, close to I-90,fast food and gas station. It reminded me of when I was a kid and we went on vacation and we’d stay at a relative’s house that my parents hadn’t seen since they were a kid. A cousin or aunt that they hadn’t visited for awhile but they ended up being really nice, hospitable and their house was clean.

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The lobby was quaint and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the snack bowl provided in the room. I plan to make this a regular stop when my travels bring me this way.

We liked that we were on the first floor and could back up to the door. Room was clean and spacious. The only thing is my husband and I kept hitting our knees on the sharp bed posts at each corner at the bottom of the bed when we would walk around the edge of the bed, that smarts! Could cover them up with something? Thank you!

Great value and convenient location. Nice pluses were the free snacks and balconies for second floor rooms. One quirky thing was only one bar of soap was provided, so we needed to move it between the shower and sink. There were also no towel bars to put towels on for reuse.
