It is on the property of the historic Houston Home which was built in 1905 and also restored. "1 block away" pretty much describes how far you will walk to Baker Park/Whitefish River and the downtown restaurants and coffee shops. A free shuttle bus will take you to the Whitefish Ski Resort.
