Enjoy a true getaway in this nicely appointed studio cabin in Lulu’s Guest Ranch, newly finished in 2022. It is one of several authentic Montana cabins on the ranch, just 8 minutes from downtown Whitefish. Your cabin is set in a cluster of several other cabins, surrounded by nature, with sweeping vistas. It’s not uncommon to see elk and deer feeding out front, eagles, hawks and owls overhead, as well as majestic Clydesdale horses next door at the Clydesdale Outpost.
The cabin was completely updated in 2022 and is very clean. It is small (about the size of a moderate bedroom) but very well appointed. It has a mini kitchen and full bath, complete with tile shower. The Tempur-Pedic, FULL bed is comfortable and offers amazing views. Outside there's a covered deck for all seasons, complete with deck chairs, picnic table and BBQ. We have friendly lab, Lulu, who occasionally roams the property.
Note: Our cabins have 95% 5-star reviews from guests around the world. They are in authentic, rural Montana. Like most of rural Montana, they have:
1) Limited Wifi. It is available but not fast (8-10 mbps) and sometimes goes down altogether
2) Limited cell service
3) Occasional mosquitos and other insects, inside and outside
If any of these are a critical issue for you, this cabin is not your best choice. We can’t guarantee any of them won’t occur during your stay.
Many locals consider the north side to be Whitefish’s best side. Recreation abounds, just minutes away. Access to the extensive Whitefish trail system is a 5-minute drive to the Beaver Lakes trailhead. This is your gateway to fantastic hiking, trail running and mountain biking. In another few minutes you’ll find beautiful alpine lakes, including Beaver Lake, Murry Lake and Woods Lake. They’re crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming, paddle boarding and fishing. These are local gems. Speaking of mountain biking, the area’s best trails are also within a 5- minute drive. Between Beaver Lake trail and Spencer Mountain you’ll have your choice of flowy green to challenging double-black runs. The trails are well marked. You can even stop by the Whitefish Bike Retreat (also 5 minutes away) for a beer, great conversation and equipment rentals. The Stillwater river is a short walk or dirve away, offering good fly fishing.
Big Mountain (Whitefish Ski Resort) is a 25-minute drive and is a great place to recreate in the summer with an outstanding choice of activities. Glacier Park west entrance is 35-45 minutes.
