This is a beautiful, clean, comfortable property, set apart from the craziness of the world; tucked away into a idyllic, scenic woodland setting where there are no sounds other than that of nature and our own voices when we so chose to talk and laugh. Much of our time was spent on the back porch (though we also enjoyed the front porch), sitting in quiet reflection, taking in the silence and the beauty of nature, watching and photographing the deer and wide variety birds, turtles, and other natural inhabitants. We enjoyed not hearing ANY other sounds (no sirens, no neighbors, no dogs barking, etc. - wonderful!). It was a complete and perfect break from our reality back home. The house is pristinely clean and yet instantly comfortable to settle into; everything about it is wonderful! The king bed was spacious and comfortable, we enjoyed using the grill, the kitchen is well stocked, and the recliners in the living room were a welcome respite after a long day. We made this our base point for our Ozark travels; the Branson area (though not our thing) is a scenic 1 1/2 hour drive to the west where we spent an enjoyable couple of hours at Bear Creek Wine Co. (beautiful location); we also enjoyed a scenic drive in the opposite eastward direction to Alley Spring & Mill and Viandel Vineyard, and of course an amazing visit to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum/Rocky Ridge Farm, in Mansfield (only a short 30 minute drive), fulfilled a lifelong dream and was well worth the visit. We highly recommend this home to anyone seeking a comfortable, beautiful place where you can reconnect to one another or to oneself.
