The staff were all great and super friendly. We had Lasagne for dinner but it had no layers of pasta. It was basically mince with cheese on top. The manager was very understanding and omitted this from our bill.

Lovely hotel for the night before catching the frrry home. Wonderful staff especially Paul, who kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for our very early departure. Very much appreciated! One thing to note is that there is not a pool. I was under the impression that there was as the listing on Expedia and hotels.com states a pool is available. The lady on reception was baffled but did say that we weren’t the first people to ask about it. I booked this hotel because of the pool but it was a lovely anyway. Just wanted to highlight for other guests.

Handy hotel on the way to Rosslare Harbour. Rooms have not been decorated in years and our carpets were quite filthy and worn. If you’re running for the ferry in the morning bear in mind breakfast service is very slow with no buffet service at all.

Rooms have clearly been updated, which was unexpected from the hallway. Breakfast was fantastic. I had the healthy fry up and the vegetarian fry up and my husband had the mini Irish and the waffles. The bar was really great. Lots of options without the giant hotel mark up price tag.

First time using The Farmers Kitchen Hotel in Wexford and I don’t think I will be back after the poor accommodation and food I had. The only best part of the hotel is Noemi and Jenny, Brendan the Bar Manager seems stand-offish and doesn’t really take criticism seriously, not great for a person working in the hospitality sector
