Within a short drive to the seafront, we are well located for a visit to Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas. If you are looking for a relaxing break away, in a spacious setting, with the use of a private garden, covered outside area, summerhouse, & hot tub, and an electric vehicle charger, you won't be disappointed. You are also welcome to use a private garden room which opens up to the garden. Hosts live onsite. Please be aware that we have a very friendly Golden Retriever dog. Hosts have their own private lounge.
The listing is offered on a bed and breakfast basis, which is served to you at a time of your choosing. A continental style breakfast is included for all guests with a selection of cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurts, fruit juices, with tea and coffee provided.
The Executive Double Bedroom (Blue room) has a double bed with a kingsize duvet, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and work desk / dressing table with mirror. All electric sockets have additional USB ports. 40 Inch HD Smart TV.
Guests have their own private bathroom, accessed across a shared landing. Bath with shower overhead and handrails for safe access, WC, sink, and heated towel rail.
There is a 2nd bedroom available (Single Black room) - extra charges apply - Select 3 guests to book this additional bedroom. The room contains a single bed with double duvet, a TV with Amazon Fire TV, and a chest of drawers. The wardrobe in this room is for the hosts storage.
A travel cot (bedding is not supplied), highchair, and baby changing facilities are available on request at booking. There are stair gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. Families are welcome to book with us, remembering that we have a friendly dog who is used to all ages of children. The travel cot can be errected in either bedroom on request.
Hot drink making facilities and hairdryers are available in both bedrooms.
The listing is for 2 people sharing the double room. Please select 3 guests for additional guest, or 2 singles with a room each. This covers breakfast, cleaning, and towels etc. 3rd person charge not applicable for under 2 year olds in a cot. The maximum we can accommodate is 3 people plus a cot across 2 bedrooms. Guests have use of the downstairs garden room, which is accessed through the hosts open plan kitchen. The garden room benefits from a large dining table, a corner sofa with a coffee table, music system, 42 Inch Smart TV, DVD player with a selection of DVD's, XBOX games console, heating, fan, games & cards, bi-folding doors, and views of the garden.
A small portable aircon unit is available and tower fans for warmer days.
The garden is equipped with 2 sun loungers, a seating area with a table, sofa area on the decking, sun parasols, blankets & cushions.
Check out time is 10:00hrs. Late check-out is available on request for a small charge due to rearranging housekeepers.
A well equipped summerhouse is in the garden, made available to all guests, with music, drinks, fridge, and snacks. There is a hot tub for guests private use, with additional towels provided. An outside hot water shower is available in a covered area.
There is plenty of parking available at the property. High-speed Wi-Fi access is provided throughout the property and garden.
The house is powered by green electricity, generated through solar panels and stored in batteries so your stay will be kind to our environment. The property also has a type 2 EV charger for guests use (local charges apply)
We are in a great location to visit the surrounding areas of Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, Wells, and Cheddar.
Some extra services are provided for a small additional cost.
The Executive Double Bedroom is included in the standard listing. The Single Bedroom is available on request for 3rd person/2nd room charge.
Hosts will be onsite and available 24/7 while guests are booked in. We are comfortable to interact with guests as needed and will leave all guests space to enjoy their time with us.
We are a quiet estate house, with our own private driveway and ample parking. Easy access to the sea front and the M5. We are within walking distance of local shops, supermarket, pub's and restaurants.
There are nearby bus routes into town, to the Seafront and Bristol. We are within walking distance of train stations (Worle or Milton).
A friendly dog lives in the house, but we do not accept guests pets without prior agreement, please call to discuss. There is a smoking and vaping area outside. Although the kitchen is not made fully available for guests' private use, the use of a microwave, fridge and freezer are available on request, with crockery & cutlery also available. Guests are welcome to bring take-away meals into the garden room, but food and drink is requested not to be taken upstairs to the bedrooms.
The seafront is approximately a 25 min walk.
