The cleaning staff stormed inside our room 1 hour before checkout time. They didn't knock or anything. I found this really inappropriate because we were still laying in bed.

This is an older motel but well-run and well maintained. One of the best pools I've encountered and a great breakfast buffet. I liked it so well I stayed in it twice, on the way to the west coast and again on the way back.

Avoid this place. Management is not concerned with comfort. Stuck us in a room across from the ice machine and soda macine. Had to ask for soap, towels and then discovered no syrup for waffles and no sign.

When I made the reservations for the Quality Inn Stateline, I had some expectations. Since most of these motels were built decades ago, and since ownership is likely to have changed a few times, I expected kind of a tired hotel. Scuffed paint and furniture, some things that maybe didn't work, stuff like that. The reality it that this is a really nice motel. Fresh paint, everything works, they had vending and laundry machines that all worked, even the complimentary breakfast was pretty good. I wish all the places I stayed were as good as this.
