Ibis was in the perfect location to us downtown and close to dining options and ride in the cycle path for our early start the next day. Rooms were big, clean and everything you need for an overnighter.

It was close to the shopping area. On a busy street but not to noisy. Within walking distance to rail station. Convenient to catch the Ferry for Cook Strait crossing.

We stayed here 2 nights, mainly for the convenience to the event centre and town. We know the Ibis is nothing fancy but it’s perfectly ok and reasonably priced for a central Wellington hotel.
