The hotel was clean and quiet. We did not eat breakfast there, looked like the normal-cereal, waffles, fruit juice, yogurt etc. The pool area was clean. There were kids swimming in it on Sunday morning.
had to move the beds to put a crib in the middle of both beds floor had black mold under the beds which we noticed at 1am and dirt and apple under beds
Place needs many updates rooms not the cleanest. The manager is the person checking you in and cleaning the rooms 24/7. I stayed here two separate times the second time Friday and Saturday nights the back door was.zip tied to open without a key card i alerted the manager and he only stated that some guest do that but why is that allowed. Saturday during the day someone tried to get into my room i originally thought maybe it was the cleaning person but with the door issue i dont know that for sure scary either way especially since they dont clean the room every day when you stay more than one night. I wont be back it is hard to feel secure when the door that should only be accessible by a key card can be open by anyone. I have NEVER stayed at a.place that you could jist walk into another door without a key card. This should be addressed and taken seriously by manager. The manager lied to my face when he said he cut the zip tie off in fact it was still there when I checked out.
This is in bad need of updates. The place is.in the middle of a small town. FAMILY owned I gathered because the same person checking you in.is the same person cleaning rooms. On our.second night i noticed the.door that is supposed to be secured and only allow you in with a key card was zip tied and could be opened bu anyone not secured at all. I alerted the "manager" his statement was sometimes guest will do that if they need to make several trips in. When is it ever acceptable to donthat and WHY would a hotel allow that! He said he fixed it he lied it was NOT fixed it was left like that someone did try to.get into.my room during the day when we were still there. This place does NOT CARE ABOUT SECURITY OF GUEST AT ALL! THE OWNER OPERATOR needs to be held accountable and insure guest safety.
The pool was clean and warm, we have small children so ideal pool temperature. Hot tub was being repaired at the time of our stay whish they would have disclosed that before booking our room.
The sheets in the bed were not clean from the previous guest. While they looked clean, it was obvious from the smell they had not been changed and the bed simply was remade.
