My boyfriend and I chose a suite for a relaxing romantic stay after attending a wedding. From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was welcoming and luxurious. The staff is incredibly helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and well prepared for us. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. We intend on booking this again.

Great location. Good parking. Comfortable bed. Pretty clean, but issues with breakfast. Serve till 10:00 AM, got there at 9:30. Out of eggs and meat. Eggs came about 10 minutes later, still no meat. Brought out meat 10 minutes after that. Out of potatoes, ready 10 minutes after that. We ate our breakfast in shifts. Out of knives and then forks a few minutes after that. Also I took the last plate. Had to borrow my husband’s knife. Definitely need to hire more kitchen help as well as more people to fill in food, plates, silverware, etc.

Spent the weekend here after visiting the area for hiking. We were very pleasantly surprised with how cute & friendly the downtown area was. Had quite a few choices of restaurants and coffee houses within walking distance from the Jefferson. Felt very safe, even later at night.

Paid for 3 breakfasts but were only given 2 vouchers. Mattresses old and uncomfortable. Hotel was dated. Bathroom configuration was inconvenient. Vanity very small. Sink was open to sleeping area making it difficult to get ready when traveling with teen grandson.

Air conditioning issue everyday. Front desk only offered to send maintenance to fix it. Each evening it would go out and had to sleep in warmer room. Finally on last evening of stay and a few hours before checkout, they offered to move us to a new room, but by then it was too late. The General Manager asked that I email him when I return home and he would take care of things. I did email the General Manager, but still no reply. Overall, dissatisfied with service at this property.

Good value overall
Bed was comfy. Room was very large with a fireplace. The lighting makes me feel like I’m staying in a science lab, and the carpet was wrinkled in a few spots. The furniture also needs some tlc. But for the price, it was a solid value
