If you are looking for a comfortable mights sleep after a day of hiking or skiing, DO NOT stay here! I will start by saying the area where the hotel is located is beautiful and the lobby area was lovely and cozy. We never met any of the staff during our stay as we didnt check in until 12AM, and there was no one at the desk when we checked out at 11 AM. Breakfast is done very early at 9 AM. We felt that is too early for breakfast to be done and as we didnt get to sleep until 1 am we missed it. The room was large, clean, but outdated and had no mini fridge for the leftovers we had so we had to discard them. Our biggest issue were the beds. When I say they were the cheapest, most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in I'm not exaggerating. It felt like a think layer of cardboard over metal springs. When I first laid down I couldnt believe how uncomfortable it was. I could feel metal springs poking me all over my body. The floor would have been more comfortable! We tossed and turned all night and got a horrible sleep and woke up exhausted, sore snd in pain. For $200 a night, it's not worth it to stay here! Please purchase new mattresses! At the very least if you are too cheap to do that, buy a thick, memory foam mattress topper!
