Great front desk. Had a room with a balcony which was great. Furniture in room was sparse and could use redecorating. Infrastructure. R.h bathrooms, need to be ripped out. Ion had a retro feel but not in a good way.

They never sent me a review email when I stayed there a month ago. THEY HAVE BEDBUGS!!!!! Especially on the fifth floor!!! I woke up in the middle of the night with one crawling on my pillow.

The bathroom amenities were disappointing, with insufficient toiletries. Essentials like soap was poorly stocked, and some other items such as shampoo, conditioner and lotion were missing. This aspect needs improvement to enhance the guest experience.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone going to DC. The staff was pleasant, accommodations were made. I had a don’t disturb sign on my door throughout my 5 day stay and once morning walking out my room housekeeping say me and asked if everything was okay or anything I needed and I absolutely appreciated that! The hotel is just minutes away from places!

This was my first time to Washington DC, Alex at the front desk was amazing in the service in the restaurant for breakfast and one lunch we’re fantastic. The elevators had a funny order in them in the rooms were very dated and not what I was expecting.

While the decor seems stuck in the Nixon era, the bed was very comfortable, and so long as one has that, everything else is manageable. The front desk staff was very nice.

Honestly this is one of the easiest places to book when I come back home to dc for a little bit. The downstairs staff themselves are excellent, very polite and accommodating. However, this hotel should be a LOT better for what it boasts. The design of the room was mid and cave like in all honesty, balcony furniture is outdated and even though I paid for a pretty decent room with a balcony, the room was underwhelming. They definitely need to update their tvs ASAP. Room service did not pick up the repeated attempts from my room phone, thusly I called the front desk, same thing - nothing. I should not have to use my personal phone to call a hotel directly when I have paid for a hotel that has listed “room service” as one of their amenities. I’ll admit, it was on the later side, but for people like me who are neurodivergent and can’t always leave their room easily it was super unhelpful to not be able to reach anyone with my room phone when I only needed something small. I also think they should update the stairwells and basement / it doesn’t have the best odor or ambiance and when I went down to workout I honestly didn’t like how hidden away the gym was - I’m well trained in self defense but in a high anxiety state (coming into town for a family emergency) I fortunately didn’t feel safe enough to do my workout. BUT this is no fault of the staff (aside from room service/front desk availability from the room phone) - I think these are changes that owners can make
