Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire unit, it is not shared.

There is a family living upstairs. Please note that the everyday sounds and noises of family life (footsteps, stairs, kids playing, etc.) can be heard in both directions. You will undoubtedly hear them (and they will hear you) as they go about their everyday life.

The Neighborhood:
Located close to Rock Creek Park, the Zoo and downtown DC, Mount Pleasant's rich historical connection to DC has made it a diverse, cultured and community-driven neighborhood. Complete with it's own main street, beautiful historic rowhouses and tree-lined streets, guests can enjoy a small town feel in the heart of our Nation's Capitol.

Nearby Columbia Heights neighborhood has a plethora of dining, shopping and entertainment options! With excellent proximity to public transportation, you are not limited to the area, but you may not want to leave!

With family owned shops intermingled with national retailers so you could get lost in, any shopper will find something up their alley! Stroll the mural lined streets and take in a show at the Tivoli Theater in lovely Columbia Heights!

We are a stone’s throw from some of DC’s trendiest areas; The ever lively 14th Street Corridor is a great area and has something for everyone; bars, restaurants, galleries, boutiques, coffee shops, music venues, and vintage stores.

The U St Corridor which houses some of the best nightlife in the District is also a short distance further south from the apartment - the amazing music, food, and drink scene is a great way to spend an evening, and soak up the DC experience.

Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Columbia Heights Station (yellow /green line), a 17 minute walk. We are also a 17 minute walk from the Woodley Park metro stop (red line). The D32 or H4 bus stop is located on our street. These can both take you downtown directly.

Other Things to Note:
If you are going to order food to the home, please be very specific to the driver on where the entrance to your unit is.

We want you to make the most of your stay, so we've partnered with DC’s city tour company See DC Today to help ensure an amazing visit, at the best rate possible! Sit back and relax as the finest, most highly-trained and knowledgeable guides take you through the city, to soak up the surrounding history.

Excellent efficiency in G'town
A great, efficient, modern, convenient, well-located room/apartment. There's not a ton of living space beyond the kitchen and bedroom, but there's no wasted space either, and if you're vacationing in a city like D.C. it's unlikely you're needing a place to sit around all day. Has all the appointments one needs for a comfortable stay in a studio space, and is located within walking distance of restaurants, bars, etc., etc. Some VRBOs are a little *too* homey. Yes, it's nice to feel like home-away-from-home sometimes. This one is more upscale hotel-ish. The kitchen has all you'll need for basic meals - not making Thanksgiving dinner on one's trip to D.C. anyway, probably - and the shower-only bathroom is nicely renovated and modern-comfortable. Responsive management, and easy entry/check-in. Overall, if you're looking for a studio in a great location and at a good rate, you can't go wrong here. We'd stay again. Thanks, Travis.-

Beautiful neighborhood
Immaculate and very well equipped, but rather dark - we didn’t realize it was a basement unit. The neighbourhood was beautiful and we felt very safe, but it's best not to bring a car as there was no street parking during the day . The metro was a 20 minute walk, and it was a 25 minute drive to visit the sites in the core of the city. Correspondence with VRBO was excellent, with questions answered without delay.
