The location was ideal for visiting our niece, a GW student. It’s a great neighborhood and convenient to the Metro. We were able to check in early. The room was just right, nothing fancy, but clean & comfortable. Would stay there again.

Everything worked well until checkout where there was a mix-up regarding the agreed room rate. The first draft of the bill was for twice the booked room rate. Staff was very responsive in fixing this, but it required me to catch the error upon receiving the first draft of the bill.

The hotel was a well-kept century-old property. Very clean. Good location. The only possible concern is the size of the shower. I was glad I’m not a large person—it would have felt cramped. Cafe had delicious breakfasts.

This was an excellent stay. I hadn't been here for a few years, and was pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. I didn't recall the comfort of the beds and pillows and spaciousness of the rooms. The rooms were very clean. Older hotel, so sound privacy isn't excellent... but Mohamad at the bar was the best part of the trip. Very sweet and entertaining. Itworth coming just to meet him!
