Very nice hotel in a good location. Be advised that there are no grab bars in the shower, which also has gloss tile flooring. And no nonbreakable beverage containers for the bathroom either. A couple safety hazards to be aware of.

Great Hospitality, nice room, only suggestion I would add a luggage rack to the room to put our suitcase. Dining at the KILN restaurant was a wonderful experience, Chef Matt and his staff surprised us with a wonderful menu full of surprises and very creative food that made our palate tickles . Hotel Heron is lovely. I treated myself to a 5-course dinner at Kiln, relaxed in the lobby and enjoyed every moment I spent in my wonderful hotel room. Being a block away from King Street was a huge bonus!! There were a number of restaurants to chose from and so many fantastic boutiques.

First night was rough, had a corner room where a door leading to three others kept slamming. The guests were loud and obnoxious for several hours of the night. We wanted to move rooms and were willing to downgrade but the staff were concerned about our wellbeing and upgraded us. It was very nice and we were extremely grateful. The hotel itself if beautiful, the valet is easy and quick, and the staff were always accommodating.

We stayed for our ten year wedding anniversary. Not only was the staff accommodating but went above and beyond to make our stay perfection. The corner king suit had beautiful views, the suit was well done and luxurious. The roof top bar with DJ was a great way to finish off a night out. We highly recommend staying here, dinning at Murphy’s and finishing off with desert from Lily’s Chocolate & Coffee. Brunch at Hen’s Quarters was also fantastic!
