Tower block with off-putting corridors

Pros: Nice and quiet. Facilities to cook own food / prepare breakfasts in required. Nice shower. Close to city.
Cons: Being more clear on where you need to be. That could be in an email prior to arrival or better signage. Exterior decor is out of their hands I guess.
Location: We were near the Palace of Culture. We walked to the Rising Museum. Used the subway to get to Praga / Neon Museum and the buses to get to Lazienki
We received an email the day before arriving asking us when we would be arriving. That was all fine. In was easy to find as I'd looked into it before but from the outside was a little worrying at first. The grey rainy day might have played some part in that but the outside of the building, some of the people in the area and graffiti "tags" were off putting. The apartments are split between Bagno 5 and Bagno 7. We found our way into our "Bagno" but didn't really know where to go. We were in a little hallway but there was a code needed to enter further. After 15 minutes of trying to figure out where we needed to be an elderly Polish man who lived in the building (I presume) pointed us in the right direction. The corridors throughout are also a little off putting. Think "Peach Springs" in the Dredd movie. Check in was fine though. A friendly girl who spoke perfect English. We signed a form to accept their rules before being given our key. Once inside our room it was fine. Clean enough. A super small kitchen but all you needed for a short trip. A fridge for keeping breakfast items in, kettle, sink, chopping boards, pans, cutlery etc. Table for eating at. No plug for the sink though. Close enough for walking to wherever you needed to be too. Nice and quiet at all times of day although that would depend on your neighbours of course.

Put off by exterior of building and corridors

The room itself had everything we needed (except maybe a couple of English speaking TV Channels) It was clean and modern enough for us but was severely let down by the rest of the building. The exterior of the building had lots of graffi on it and piles of rubbish either side which I think was a makeshift hide for a couple of homeless drunks The stairs and the corridors were rough and bare concrete, with what looked like metal cages at the ends....it was a bit intimidating...but the room itself was acceptable. The block of apartment's were one of 3 in the street, which were surrounded in the area by a mix of historic buildings and glass skyscrapers....The building was never noisy and the newish upvc windows kept out any street noise.

Nous avons aimé l emplacement (à 7mn à pied de l arrêt d autobus qui vient de l aéroport de Modlin), métro en bas de l immeuble, commerces, supermarchés..... L appartement, situé dans un immeuble daté de l époque soviétique est de qualité, très propre, bien équipé, et literie très confortable. La vue sur les buildings est splendide la nuit.
