West across Youngs Bay from Astoria, Swallow the Anchor Beach & Lake House is located in Warrenton, OR, sitting on the most northwestern point of the State of Oregon. Surrounded by water, Warrenton is a charming community on the Columbia River, with a sizable marina and Victorian-era homes. The nearby Fort Stevens State Park, which extends up to the jetty at the mouth of the Columbia River, offers camping, hiking trails, beach access, and swimming at Coffenbury Lake.
Explore the same landscapes seen during expeditions made by the Corps of Discovery in the early 1800s. Fort Stevens itself was built overlooking the Columbia River during the 1850s and is now a military museum open to the public. On the Pacific Coast nearby, the large iron skeleton of the 1906 shipwreck, Peter Iredale, sits embedded in the sand.
The sounds of the ocean, the wildlife, the breeze, and the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets are a coastal explorers dream. Come and relish in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest while making memories to last a lifetime - book now for coastal bliss!

We ask you to read the house, HOA, and County Rules and treat our home, and the laws that govern us, with respect so that we can continue to provide a wonderful stay for years to come. There is a real country-wide threat of eliminating Short Term Rentals from residential neighborhoods.
We require guests to visit our secure guest screening portal, through Autohost, for identity verification and fraud protection before their reservation is considered finalized. This process is an alternative to asking guests to provide a security deposit, as our insurance company uses the risk assessment to evaluate our coverage for your stay and advise on any fraudulent or purposely negligent activity on any of a guest’s past reservations. This process will take approximately 3-minutes to complete and will require a government-issued ID and the credit card that you will use to book your reservation.
