The village of Benson has a selection of everyday amenities, including a local shop, a butcher and two pubs. Wallingford, home of Agatha Christie, has a selection of shops and supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and cafés.
Located by the Oxfordshire Chilterns, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is perfect for exploring by foot or bike, and treats you to magnificent views of the Thames Valley and South Oxfordshire. The town of Watlington is 6 miles away and sits at the foot of the Chilterns, it is steeped in history and offers many independent delicatessens and shops. Approximately 1½ miles from Watlington is Watlington Hill, a National Trust chalk grassland site which is a fantastic area to spot red kites and butterflies including the silver-spotted skipper.
