Cute Cottage
Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this home. There was more space than we knew what to do with for our party of 5! There were even two extra rollout beds in an upstairs closet! :) The craftsmanship of the home was exquisite and welcoming! A couple things that could use improvement would be the cleaning, oven and dryer. For a $200+ cleaning fee, we could see white pet hair from a previous stay on some of the furniture and the floor. We vacuumed the downstairs and swiffered the upstairs, out of worry that we might acquire an excessive pet hair fee as outlined in the agreement due to these remnant hairs. The spice cupboard had syrup residue and was sticky along with spice granules, the olive oil bottle was empty & one of the pans had leftover egg. The oven did not seem to heat to full temp (400 F), after 20 minutes the salmon looked like it was still raw. I then broiled on high heat and actually forgot about it and it was barely browned after about 10 mins (which should have charred it). A meat thermometer would be super helpful to check doneness but I could not find one. The dryer took 2 70-minute cycles to begin to dry the towels we were asked to wash and dry before departure. Which also makes me wonder why the cleaning fee is so high. This constrained our checkout process immensely. We had hoped to wash some of our own stuff but could not due to the dryer. Overall we would still come again and hope this feedback helps make this place even better for next time!:)

Nice Roomy Beach House
We had a wonderful stay while here. The house is quite roomy. Even though it only sleeps eight, we had family in the area and were able to dine ten without any problem. Plenty of space in the kitchen and with two dining areas and two living room areas, there is ample room for socializing. While the house is "on the beach", its really just a small area by a bay and water was quite dirty. Its a nice place to sit and watch the water with your morning tea, but if you want to go wading, you'll probably want to drive somewhere with conventional beach access. Also, the house is quite old and creaky in places while walking. Its fine, and safe, but it can be a difficult to step softly if you need to use the restroom at night. Plenty of things to do in the area. We were there three nights and found plenty of activities nearby to keep us busy.

Wonderful Bay View
This 4 bedroom older home suited us perfectly. Very well stocked kitchen, cozy sitting rooms for reading, and a sunlit enclosed porch were pluses. It is situated close to an interesting Visitor Center and across the street from a small sandy beach.

Hidden gem
This is a sweet house within walking distance of markets, coffee shops, restaurants and the beautiful beach. It was exactly what we were looking for and so glad it was available for our stay. Everything was exactly as described and pictured, but I forget how cold the coast can get and couldn’t find some heaters…but that is probably user error. Overall definitely 5 stars for this stay.

Great stay overall
Only thing somewhat negative I have to say is that the floors and doors are very creeky (old house), but other than that, the layout was perfect for the group we had staying. Plenty of space, good parking, walking distance to the stores and restaurants, and right across the road from a small beach. 10/10 recommend, will definitely be staying here again.

Fabulous place to stay
Charming, lovely old home. Great location. Lots of room. There were 6 of us, old high school friends gathering for our annual reunion. We were very happy here. The home was quiet; kitchen had lots of knives, accessories, mixing bowls, pots & baking pans; beds were comfortable, extra blankets, plenty of hot water. We appreciated the night lights throughout the home.

Weekend getaway
This place has great access to a strip of Sandy beach, and is very walkable to most places in town. We didn’t need our cars once we arrived. The big fenced yard was great for dogs. Just be aware the inside of the home is full of antique furniture and dogs are not allowed on any of the furniture. Overall a great, relaxing spot

Great Coastal Base
The location is great for exploring the coast with children. There was a nice little bayside beach just across the street. We loved visiting the Oregon Coast Aquarium and the beautiful tide pools at Seal Rocks. We were also close the the magnificent Cape Perpetua. The house was charming and spacious. We had everything we needed. I hope to come back with family.
