The view from the hotel of the Wakayama castle is stunning, especially at night, when the castle is lit up! Walking the castle park in the morning was wonderful. Parking was in a building next door, 1000¥/day with easy in and out privileges, and lots of parking. I am a big fan of Daiwa Roynet, having stayed at 4 different locations this year—good locations, great staff, clean and well designed rooms. 👍

Nice, clean and comfy hotel with great views of Wakayamojo from the room. Good but not great breakfast - fresh bakery would have been nice. Overall still a great option.

Room is huge by local standards. Parking lot is just across the street with in-/out- privileges. One significant drawback is there are only two elevators. Wait time could be quite long in the morning and late evening.

This was a great location, not too far from the JR Wakayama station, which is a convenient jump off spot to areas in Wakayama. Great view of the Wakayama Castle. Bed is not the most comfortable though.
