This house has beautiful scenery where you can wake up and have coffee on the back deck overlooking the lake as the sun rises over the water. The quiet atmosphere tends to draw foxes and deer to roam through the backyard which add to a relaxing retreat.
During the day you have the freedom to explore the lake at your leisure. Launching from your private dock to fish, ski, or tube as you enjoy what Ft Gibson lake has to offer. Alternatively, The swimming dock invites you to cool off with a refreshing dip in the water where you can swim, or paddle board.
There is a public boat ramp .2 miles down the road and a public sandy swimming beach just 1/2 a mile away. Another fun adventure 30 mins away is to float the clear Illinois River from any number of outfitters along the river. And if you are looking for more physical activities there are numerous hiking trails through state parks within 30 mins (easily located with the all trails app).
