I really did enjoyed myself there. The hotel staff are beyond professional and polite. I absolutely loved the gym, especially no one was using it while I was there. The breakfast wasn’t bad. There is a little construction going on but didn’t effect me at all - for being a light sleeping. I did however wished the food by the pool and in the ruby resturant was a little different. Great job overall Vias Hotel

Check in was fast. Hotel was nice. Room was clean and as described. Pool area was relaxing and nice with a lot of areas to layout. Breakfast was very good, great start. FYI. Currently they are demolishing the front beach areas so the will be construction noise and beach access are limited in areas. Overall a wonderful stay.

The Vias hotel certainly has the wow factor when checking in, great lobby. The room was excellent as were the facilities. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice, local and Western. Obviously during the rennovations of the beach there is considerable upheaval in the immediate area outside the property but this didn't affect us too much. We enjoyed using the pool instead and appreciated the happy hour offers. Some criticisms: 1) The hotel advertises as a non smoking hotel but allows smoking on the 4th floor garden during breakfast. The garden area is lovely, why spoil it with smokers? Also, it would have been nice to have access to this garden during the day, perhaps for afternoon tea? 2) Some of the staff were a little inexperienced and couldn't answer our questions about the locality. But all staff were friendly and tried to help make our stay lovely. 3) The pool changing area and toilets were a little inaccessible and out of the way. In bad weather when using the Sky Bar you had to go outside to get to the toilets - why not install a door from bar to toilets? 4) The bottled water smelt like it was contanimated when opened. But these niggles aside we would highly recommend this hotel, especially when the beach rennovations have finished.
