Landhaus Waldhof on the Großvolderberg

Villa Waldhof is situated in a wonderfully quiet location with a fantastic panoramic view at the asphalted end of the Großvolderberg.

An archway provides car access to the partially fenced property of the house. There is space for two vehicles with a maximum height of 2.0 metres under the covered parking spaces. At least 2 more vehicles can easily be parked without a canopy. Snow chains must be carried in winter.

The house has been lovingly renovated by the owners to offer modern comforts as well as wellness and relaxation without losing the original charm of the house. The parlour has a fully electrically controlled tiled stove, which always ensures optimum combustion and heat utilisation of the firewood. The soothing warmth can be enjoyed particularly well from the cosy stove bench. The spacious round table with round bench and chairs is the perfect place to enjoy delicious meals with a marvellous backdrop. A real highlight is the parlour in the living room, which has been neatly converted from an alpine hut and reinstalled here. The solid wood provides warmth and cosiness, simply ideal for spending evenings together and playing cards, for example.

The large kitchen is fully equipped and has everything to make the heart of any chef beat faster. There is also a separate pantry with a fridge and freezer. The first bedroom with double bed and TV is located next to the kitchen and offers a wonderful view over the terrace. The terrace itself offers more than enough space and has a brick-built charcoal barbecue as well as a seating area with table. A staircase leads from the terrace to the garden. On the first floor there is a Swiss stone pine bedroom with TV. The Swiss stone pine is known to have a very calming effect on people and the smell of Swiss stone pine slows the heartbeat by 2-3 beats, which enables a particularly good and deep sleep. Another cosy bedroom with a double bed is ideal for families with children or just for children, as the "dressing room" can be converted into another bedroom for one person. The spacious bathroom has 2 washbasins, a shower and its own dressing table. A separate WC in the basement, ground floor and first floor significantly increase comfort.

The light-flooded and motivating training room with exercise bike and yoga mat, including a small TV, is the perfect place to exercise while marvelling at the surrounding mountains. Another delight is the living room with a cosy couch, a TV, a wood-burning stove with electric heat distribution and the large panoramic windows that allow you to enjoy the view to the full.

Last but not least, the huge basement with laundry room, another shower, a bathtub with whirlpool function, ergonomically shaped relax loungers and a fully-fledged sauna for 2 - 4 people should be emphasised. It is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. In winter, the patio doors allow you to step directly from the sauna into the garden to cool off in the snow.

In summer, you can enjoy your well-deserved holiday in the garden, your own oasis of well-being with a small biotope. Furthermore, numerous hikes and mountain bike tours can be started directly from the house.
In winter, the Waldhof is the perfect starting point for ski touring or tobogganing. The Glungezer ski area can be reached in 22 minutes for a wonderful day on the slopes.
