Enjoy the quiet beauty of a private citrus grove! Enchanted Cottage located in the serene Sierra Foothills has been a humble home base for our park guests and those simply seeking a getaway in nature. You will enjoy preparing healthy meals in our well equipped kitchen with seasonally available produce from the garden and dining al-fresco on the private patio!

The cottage is detached from the main house, wholly fenced in with its own covered parking, patio, living quarters and private entrance and its own separate heating and cooling system, independent of the main house.

Designed with intention to get back in touch with your zen, the cottage is nestled by the trees away from the road, and with bedroom views of the garden and orchard on 1.5 acres of private land.

Upon entering (step-free access), you will find a stocked kitchen with a 4-stove gas range, full size refrigerator and a small dining area with a spacious farmhouse sink for dishes or laundry. Washboard, eco-detergent & drying rack are provided for laundry the old fashioned way!

The dining area leads to the bedroom with two twin beds (or a king bed upon request), ample closet space, a writing desk, a dressing area, and a bathroom with a shower (no tub).

Outside, you will find plenty of space to stretch out, walk or exercise on paved and dirt roads under the shadow of Venice Hill with views of the High Sierras.

Our guests have loved hanging out on the private patio after long hiking days, with direct access to fruit trees and the cottage garden, an early morning stroll in nature with a cup of coffee or if they have more time or a longer stay, they have enjoyed preparing a meal and enjoying al-fresco on the patio, put their feet up in the hammock, taking in the peaceful sunset with wine and fresh picked fruit when in season- an opportunity to slow down and observe nature.

Orange picking is available to guests in the winter months (Dec-Mar) upon request.

During your stay at this cottage, you'll be close to Ivanhoe Branch Library. The cottage includes amenities such as a kitchenette and a patio.
