Booked this hotel for a work trip had an Engineering conference in town for the week. On 3 occasions I harassed by staff specifically front desk/manager who had questioned me on whether or not I was a guest and proceeded to ask for proof ie-keys,room #, name etc. I know it’s a spring break town but unacceptable. I was literally checking out the amenities and approached if I was lost etc because I was walking looking around and 2 min later approached by the manager requesting proof. Unacceptable. Lock your doors if you have problems with homeless/vagrants entering your property. Left a day early and moved to another hotel without requesting a refund for last night. 👎

Great Get Away
We had a magnificent view of the ocean, the hotel & room was very clean, the staff was super friendly. We will stay here the next time we are in town. The location was perfect, in the center of everything.

They were so great! We needed an extra night to our stay and they were very accommodating! The hotel was super clean. The room was spacious and overlooking the ocean from balcony was great. Definitely will stay there again!

The beds are rock hard and very uncomfortable and we had no housekeeping our whole stay I also had to throw out my shoes because I stepped in human feces in the parking garage also only one of the elevators were working so it took a long time to go anywhere

Room was ok. Needs to be cleaned better. This hotel does not need to be on Hiltons self check in. You still have to go to the counter to check in. A waste of time to self check in they will give you keys anyway.

We were very happy with the Hampton Inn Virginia Beach-Oceanfront South,Check-in was a breeze and the personnel at the front desk were very polite. The hotel was very clean, and the room was very spacious, bathroom was spotted clean. The breakfast was the best we had in any hotel, a lot a variety and fresh foods for everybody even for the picky eater like my daughter, they had two kinds of omelets, sausage roasted potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, cereal, banana bread and bagels with cream cheese and jelly options, a waffle station with lots of toppings, coffee and tea 24/7. Apple and orange juice, and milk. The kitchen breakfast manager was there to greet us and wish us a great day! you can tell that she is giving an amazing service and wanted us to feel at home. They had two dining rooms, so it was plenty space for us to find a table and it was not crowded at all. Parking was very convenient and lots of it, the parking lot entrance is next to the hotel lobby and for just $10 a night for a covered and safe parking lot for our car it was a steal. The lobby is on the hotel side, so it was a little difficult for us to find it at first, because usually the lobby is at the front of the hotel, but it was not an issue at all. The pool was on the small side but still plenty of room, for at least 3 to 4 families at once. Overall, we are very happy with this hotel, and we are starting to plan our next trip and will stay here again. Just a few steps from the beach!

What I did like is they accommodated us when we didn't like our room. What we didn't like is there's any Bank going on and they have the boardwalk closed and not accessible to the ramp by hotel but other than that it was very good
