Until some changes are made, I won't be back.
They messed up my reservation and had to redo it, which took forever. The room was not at the price they originally quoted me. When we checked in, we were told the street in front of the hotel would be blocked early the next morning because of the Veterans' Day parade. Why didn't they tell us that when I was making the reservations? This whole thing was sloppily handled, and unless some major improvements are made, I won't be back.

A Good Stay
It is in the process of remodeling so there was some mess and inconveniences but overall it was not too bad. The parking deck is a bit of a trial especially going up and down the steep slope. We still had a good stay. BC

This property is more toward the southern end of VA Beach. While I prefer the newer northern end, the Comfort Inn suited our needs for this trip, as I was only traveling with my son to a local airshow. The room with 2 queen beds was typical and clean. Everything worked. The beach/ocean view balcony was only built for two with 2 chairs and a small table. The property was an older one that's been modernized. Onsite parking garage has been added to the front and the lobby/dining area all looked new. Hot Breakfast was included each morning, along with continental items. The surrounding area was safe and there were restaurants within a short walking distance. If you are traveling with a family of four and on a budget I'd recommend this property. Clean comfortable room on the beach boardwalk, in the middle of VA Beach.

Wonderful stay
We stayed in Va Beach due to a family personal matter. However wanted to be near the ocean. Country Inn and Suites wa Ocean Front and very nice. In addition the xmas lights just started. That was an added bonus. Just note to stay on the lower levels as they are doing construction

In dire need of a make-over which I heard was starting next week. We were concerned that the door handle to the adjoining room was laying on the floor when we got to our room but we were assured by front desk that there are no more adjoining rooms so no one can get in or look into our room which was a security issue for us. The woman at the desk said that renovations were beginning this week. The hotel was clean, carpets appeared in good shape, bathrooms a little "tired" but clean. Apparently all tubs are being taken out and showers installed in all rooms. That will help. The attractiveness of this hotel was all oceanfront rooms and the price for off-season. Locations was walkable to nearby shops and restaurants. Parking garage was not great with all the twists and turns but easy access into hotel. I would consider staying here again once it was renovated. Did not eat breakfast here, too many options in Va Beach for breakfast restaurants. Coffee was good though. Staff friendly and I was upgraded to junior suite.

Limited parking for check in. Staff was a bit chilly we at check in. The premises is neat and tidy but shows its age. The view was awesome and the on site parking garage was nice. Easy access to the beach and is in walking distance of several good restaurants! Beds are hard as rocks.

I did not like the parking garage area, also inside our room 618; there were lots of flying nets flies. The ceiling had a leak, that was not fix. I report this to the front desk. Maybe get a refund later. Not to happy with this. I will post this on Facebook......

Older dated hotel but reasonably well kept in a great location. Stunning Ocean view/access, friendly and helpful staff and free parking! Nice breakfast included too! Great affordable beach getaway!
