The Barn was our second place we stayed in Iceland, and it was superb! The king room was spacious and clean as well as very modern! I loved the shower and all of the lighting and especially the covers that could be brought down to reduce the light from the windows and doors. The staff was amazing and laundry service was also worth it! We played games and drank at the bat and it was a happy and overall fun experience!

There are unknown black dirt on our bed linens when we arrived. We felt itchy after sleeping for one night. There is only a rain shower but no movable shower head in the shower (though there is a holder for the shower head). Just shows how little efforts they made in this place. The room is insanely cold. The heater is too small for the high ceiling.

It was definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at and everything was perfect. If I were to find anything for the sake of constructive criticism, I would say that it would be nice to have some holder compartment by each bed for storing one’s glasses or phone.
