Such a cool place to stay. I will list the “negatives” just so you come prepared. Don’t let these stop you from visiting!-Some doors do not lock. -The drive up to the house feels a little sketchy and dangerous (because of parked cars everywhere on the streets- but I think it’s just an old neighborhood. -Be prepared for barking dogs and roosters. -The property could use more rugs as it always felt like we were walking on a sandy, cold (in bedrooms) or slippery floor. -The front bathroom is the only one you can take a shower in as it has great water pressure and stays hot. The other is like a gentle rain shower on a spring day in Florida- with a similar and varying luke warm to cold temperature). -I am not sure if I missed it but there is no A/C in the common areas (only bedrooms) so you have to open windows and the screens have holes so it lets all the mosquitos. -Some windows do not close even in the bedrooms so they get bugs too. -It had a k cup coffee maker but no one on the island (that we could find) sold k cups. -If you are a hot tea drinker there is no electric or stove kettle. -Be prepared to rent or uber/taxi everywhere as most of the activities and restaurants are on the other side of the island. -Finally, it could use a little more personal accessories like shampoo, body wash, and a blow dryer in each bathroom. Other than these minor issues we still had fun and enjoyed our stay!
