Exceeded all expectations- already planning our return. Incredible location, easy, quick and cheap access to airport; trams and UTrains to get around the city and walkable to local restaurants, shops and landmarks. Room was great size and spotless. Very comfortable, enough plug outlets/lighting options/free wifi and use of fridge (handy to have as there is a supermarket across the street to get snacks) or for any required medication. Made use of gym facilities- incredible view overlooking the city, extensive collection of equipment and nice touch including free bottled water. Breakfast had a great selection of tasty items (the bakery selection alone was incredible) very peaceful and runs until 11:30am!!! Perfect if you want a lie-in. And even without all these key details, we’d return thanks to the staff alone! Def recommend as long as they’ll always have enough space for us to return 😉

It's quaint; literally walking distance to the train station, walkable to a lot of good restaurants and bus tour stops. We enjoyed our stay at Mooons, Vienna!

Lovely hotel and a pleasant stay.
Very nice, modern hotel with quirky theme around the Moon ( pictures, round windows etc) . Super quick check in and lovely room on the first floor with a garden view ( as requested) . Lovely friendly and chatty staff apart from the bartender on the first nice who we thought was a little miserable and lacking any kind of charisma/ friendliness. Other than that , all good . Breakfast a little different in that it is vegan / vegetarian, but ok with that . Nice pastries , good fruit selection and hot food tasty too ( even without bacon or sausages) . Fruit juices nice and blackcurrant juice was delicious and coffee good too. We had a good meal on our own in the restaurant on the first night and it didn’t disappoint. Tasty starter , delicious mains and gorgeous sweet too. It was nice that the evening chef ( a chap from Chile) popped out to see us to get an opinion from us regarding the food as he was trying some new ideas out ( all good 👍) . The only minus things are that the room wasn’t made up after the first night and we had to ask for clean fresh towels and that the only heating is air conditioning which we found to dry out our noses/ throats . Other than that , we would return to this same hotel as it was so nice and also convenient for public transport links ( bus, tram , train and underground train) .

Mooons - fantastic
Loved our stay at Mooons Vienna. Staff were friendly and welcoming and our room was amazing! Stunning views from the 9th floor and the huge windows made the room bright and airy. Lovely breakfast buffet too. The Hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the centre but it’s nice and flat with some lovely cafes and bars on the way. It’s right opposite the railway station so great links with the airport and the rest of the city. Would definitely return to Moons and Vienna.

Staff at the front desk are very helpful. Two complimentary welcome refreshment drinks are a plus. The young chef was so nice in offering us some bread and dips to go along with our drinks the night before we check out. The kind act will go a long way. We will definitely recommend Mooons to our colleagues and relatives. 5-minute walk to Wien Hbf train station and U1 subway station. Red U1 across street took us to the city center and all attractions. We arrived in Vienna from Prague by train, stayed two nights, will visit Budapest by train. Great location. Very good service. Clean.
