In the city's heart, this cozy gem is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. With friendly service and a homey feel, we loved the snack-filled pantry and indulged in delicious, varied breakfasts every morning!

It was very central and close to an underground station. Sights were either very walkable to on foot or to a tram or underground connection. The hotel was ideally suited for tourists and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The amenities were excellent. The breakfast was outstanding.

Das Tigra is a very well located place to stay. It is a walkable distance to the main sights in the centre of Vienna, with lots of good dining options close by as well. The staff were very helpful and polite. The room itself was perfect: well equipped, comfortable and very clean.

Excellent hotel, clean, safe and helpful staff! It's so close to transport links and most things are walkable from there. The staff were really great at advising things like how to get tram tickets and where to go for dinner. Would recommend and will be back if I visit Vienna again!

There is a lot to love about this property but flat out lying about having "Family Friendly Laundry Facilities", much less any laundry facilities at all, killed the experience. There are no such facilities at this hotel. The staff suggested a laundromat 30 minutes away by public transportation. This false advertising is not limited to this hotel, unfortunately. I stayed in 6 European hotels in September and October that advertise such a service that does not exist. I suspect there are probably hundreds or thousands more on Expedia worldwide that lie about the availability of such services to entice families to stay there. Instead, the bait and switch is that they offer you laundry service, which will clean your bank account fast, or you waste a day of your vacation traveling to an outside laundromat. Stay away unless they come clean about their amenities, no pun intended.

I would like to have given Das Tigra a better score because it was a nice hotel. It was comfortable and well situated for access to Vienna highlights. However, the staff, while generally friendly, rarely gave any acknowledgement in the foyer area, so you didn’t feel really welcome. Also, minor faults in our bathroom, reported twice, wee not attended to, and generally response times to requests could have better. Although not reported, the room air conditioning was ineffective.

Perfectly situated boutique hotel. Short walk to local amenities & right on the doorstep of all main attractions in the old town & necessary transport links.
