We enjoyed staying in this hotel, it was convenient to train and even walkable to many touristic places( about 20,30 min walk but a nice walk). Tanja was amazing and recommended a great local restaurant, which was excellent, she was very helpful with many questions we asked and solved few issues we had right away!

Their “24 hour” front desk staff are often not present. When checking in at 8:45pm, I spent 25 minutes searching the ground floor, knocking on random doors, messaging, emailing, and calling to try and get someone to attend the front desk. The worker had clearly been sleeping in a back room. She then left me personal information on an unattended front desk and returned to her sleeping spot (nowhere near the desk). Two mornings later at 7:00am, I went to the lobby to find someone who had been locked out of her room without her phone, who was unable to find any front desk staff to let her back in. Luckily, I knew their hiding spot from my check-in experience, so I went there, and unsurprisingly, there was a different sleeping staff member. Upon checkout at 8:30am, there was again no staff. This time the sleeping spot was only attended by cleaning staff, who took my key and said “you’re checked out”. All in all, very poor and frustrating customer experience.

This hotel was lovely and clean. The run was small but i wasn't there to hang out in my room. Very easy access to the ubahn and the people who work there are kind and lovely Would 100% stay there again.

It worked but could have been better
It was a convenient hotel for 2 nights. This was a tourist family trip for me. The breakfast is good. The location is also good but there is a building construction next door. We were asked to change to another room because of a repair in the hotel. The other room wasn’t well cleaned as the first one. We were charged a tourist fee of 8 Euros per night that wasn’t included in the reservation through Hotels.com

We really enjoyed saying at Hotel Apollo in Vienna! This hotel is a bit away from the center of the city, but there is a metro station and bus center very close so it wasn’t a huge issue for my husband and I. The area is also near a school and construction site so it can get a bit loud but we didn’t notice it much in the early morning or evening. We had the suite, and the room was very clean. They even had the room available earlier than check in. The only issue that may be a problem for others is that they don’t have someone manning the desk 24/7 so if you get in late or have a problem after hours, that could become an issue. Overall, we really liked the room, breakfast and location in a local area and I would recommend!

The area around the hotel is at present a building site, but i have to say it did not spoil our time there. The staff were all very helpful, especially Tania? who went out of her way to help us out as we tried to contact Eurowings regarding our lost luggage. She lindly phoned us and sent a photo when it finally arrived

Other than a rather good location near to Westbanhof, the service & rooms @ Apollo were not fantastic. I stayed in room 503 where the toilet windows overlooked a construction site. Requested for extra pillows & bottled water since check in, gave daily reminders to reception but still did not receive them when i checked out. Pillow was way too flat & soft. Breakfsst options were extremely limited for Asians - better to go elsewhere for breakfast
