We couldn’t be happier with and more grateful to the Almanac Palais team. Not only is the property beautifully, tastefully appointed, but the staff is incredibly attentive and thoughtful. We were in town for the Taylor Swift concerts that were cancelled at the last minute. The staff reacted with such compassion and care, putting on an incredibly fun and generously provisioned viewing party. The pool was gorgeous, the rooms comfortable and quiet, the cocktails at the hotel bar were unique and tasty, we will absolutely want to stay here any time we visit Vienna.

The hotel is perfectly located right in front of Stadpark. It is walkable distance to two street tram stations, one being within a minute from the hotel line-2 that can take you to a loop of the entire city with many landmarks along the way. Another exit of this hotel leads you right into the center city streets lined with restaurants. The room is very spacious and comfortable. The hotel restaurant service is excellent, and the restaurant serve-staff even made us custom berry lemonades to match our taste. We arrived about 3 hours before checkin, which is at 3 pm. The reception promised to try getting us into the room if one became available early but we finally were given the room right at 3pm along with many other guests who were waiting. Little flexibility will help but I will not take anything from the overall 5-Stars I give to this beautiful hotel. The checkout was a breeze even at 5am in the morning. Overall We were glad to have booked this room for 4 nights and enjoyed every bit if it. 5-Stars

The hotel was wonderful and location was great. Customer service was disappointing for such a beautiful establishment. We had emailed in advance requesting early check in and we were told that was fine and arranged. When we arrived the staff were disorganised and rude. The room wasn’t ready and when I mentioned the email I was told it’s not a guarantee. This wasn’t what my email said. Overall staff were not friendly or willing to help. The building and facilities were nice but staff weren’t except for the lovely lady who worked in the pool area. She was friendly and respectful! The only one! The clean on the second day was ordinary, the milk and tea weren’t replenished? I thought this was odd. I’ve stayed in many hotels but never come across such carelessness!

The property itself it’s nice the rooms are comfortable and location is good. The staff doesn’t look very professional. The housekeeping was very poor, they don’t change towels and they don’t provide clean glasses… very unfortunate for the hotel owner. They need to improve the staff quality. I’ll definitely not coming back and I don’t recommend this hotel.
