Location, Location, Location! Welcome to Seaside living! Menzies Manor is located just steps from the Ocean in the historic and charming neighbourhood of James Bay, close to all amenities like grocery stores, post office, restaurants and cafes and minutes away from the heart of downtown Victoria. Menzies offers beautiful suites that allow for a complete restful holiday. After a full day of walking around our beautiful city, enjoy the comforts of home.

Our quiet two bed one bath suite is located in the front of the building. The suite offers quaint and comfortable furnishings, HDTV, high-speed internet and a fully equipped kitchen. The unit is complemented by a patio terrace.

Just outside the front door, is Victoria's famous Dallas Road, where you can stroll for miles along the Salish Sea.

Parking is free but there is limited space in the parking area at the back of the house. Larger vehicles may not fit. Please check with us before booking to be sure we can accommodate your vehicle.

A hidden gem in the heart of Victoria!
What a lovely 2 bedroom apt this was! Perfectly cleaned and great attention to detail. 2 houses in from Dallas road with a clear view of the ocean. Walkable to downtown Vic, fisherman’s wharf, the empress and the inner harbor. So wonderful!

Fabulous vacation rental at the end of Menzies St. in James and
Menzies Manor is a large old house at the end of Menzies St. in James Bay. The location is excellent, and just across the street from Dalles Road which has outstanding views of the San Juan de Fuca Strait. You can walk to the parliament building in about 15 or 20 minutes and the Inner Harbor is a couple of minutes after that The unit is in excellent condition and very clean. The maintenance is outstanding. There are two medium-large bedrooms with queen beds in them so there is privacy. The living room is large, well-appointed with a small kitchen. We love this place. We stayed there in the summer of 2023 and just now in the summer of 2024. I anticipate we will stay there in the summer of 2025

Beautiful Victoria
The property was just as described, there were no surprises. The location was perfect, the park, Cook St, the Parliament building and Craigdarroch Castle were all within walking distance. Cabs were easy to arrange for transport from the ferry, to Butchart Gardens and to the airport. Although we ate in for many meals, the restaurants in the area did not disappoint.

We loved the location so close to the water. Our stay was comfortable and the unit was comfortable and nicely furnished. The kitchen was very well equipped. The parking in the back was very tight, so we parked on the street most of the time.

We chose this unit for a girl’s getaway. It was clean and comfortable. The management was very quick to communicate and respond to questions. We could see the water (a bit) from our unit and it was great to hear the waves! We could also hear the clip-clipping of the horse carriages going by. We were able to walk to the waterfront y easily. It is also in walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf.
