The hotel and staff were excellent. At night, the surrounding area felt a bit unsavory due to the homeless people that set up nearby and around the shop across from the hotel. The staff kept the place safe and secure. We were pleased with that. Room was clean and very nice. We slept well and you couldn’t hear street noise in our room.

The staff was easy to deal with, room clean and overall hotel clean. The area is ok. Only thing there is a lot of homeless people though. The parking is ridiculous you have to pay all either meter street parking or parkade meter parking, and if a minute over the time you for sure getting a ticket. My wife and I enjoy Victoria, but I probably do better research next for different hotel. Will give a 3.5 because of the area and parking issues.
