Garden Cottage at Floweree

Unique little old cottage on the grounds of an Italianate style antebellum home. The cottage has a full kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom with a shower and a tub. The cottage has a vintage shabby chic design and is very functional for a couple or small family. The kitchen has everything you need. The cottage is in the garden district of Vicksburg and is located near the railroad tracks. You can hear the train from the cottage, but the whistle doesn’t blow in the neighborhood.

Pretty disappointed
The cottage is in a rundown area of Vicksburg. We were struck upon entering how run down the cottage was too. The kitchen area was dirty and we didn't feel comfortable using the Keurig because of the dustiness. No wi-fi and only minimal towels. Luckily we were only staying 2 nights. The place needs to be fixed up.

Awesome cottage
Family of 4 stayed and loved it. Very clean and comfortable. The host is great with communication and quick to respond to any questions ( my husband needed WiFi to check in with his work and it is available here if you need it ) We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice clean place to stay in Vicksburg.

Family getaway
Very Quiet, out of the way, cottage was very clean Stephan was very helpful and friendly. Close to everything we wanted to see, even my teenage son had a good time site seeing. We Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting this town. We are planning to visit again .

Charming Stay at the Garden Cottage at Floweree – Vicksburg, MS
I recently stayed at the Garden Cottage at Floweree while attending a conference in Historic Downtown Vicksburg, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the Vicksburg Convention Center, making it incredibly convenient for conference-goers like myself. The cottage itself was charming, with lush, beautifully maintained grounds and a lovely pool, perfect for a peaceful retreat after a busy day. The property host was attentive, responsive, and a pleasure to work with, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. The only thing I found missing was a guest book, which would have been a nice touch to leave a note for the host and share experiences with future guests. Overall, I highly recommend the Garden Cottage at Floweree for anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic stay in Vicksburg.

Cute little cottage
Very cute place to stay! Tucked away and has a private setting with a pool area! We have 2 kids, 5&1 and it was enough space for all of us! We enjoyed our stay here and definitely recommend if you are coming to Vicksburg to stay at the cottage!

The host was friendly and accommodating even though we arrived early. The garden and pool area were relaxing, although we did not use the pool due to storm debris. The little garden house was homey and comfortable.

Perfect, Relaxing, Quiet Escape!
My husband and I spontaneously decided to book a quick weekend getaway. This was my very first time using VRBO, and i saw the cutest cottage available so I immediately booked it. It was only available for 1 night, and we wanted two. Knowing they had other cottages, I messaged the hosts, Stephen and Daisy to see about possible options for a second night. It was then discovered of a booking error. Stephen and Daisy went into action quickly and not only accomodated our second night with some things shifted around. We ended up getting to the stay the whole weekend. Experienced all the peaceful, well manicured property had to offered. Fast, clear check in instructions. Swift communication on every message sent. It was exactly what we wanted and needed. The property is GORGEOUS. The pool seems like youre at a high end spa like garden. The property was booked all weekend and we didnt see one other person the entire time. Clean cottages with everything you could possible require on your stay. Comfy beds and other furniture with amazing jetted tubs in every bathroom! Fantastic stay, and highly recommend. We will definitely be back for future stays when we come back to Vicksburg.
