Unprofessional and demeaning staff
I ate at the restaurant in the hotel and charged the bill to my room. A few hours later the power was shut down in my room. I went to the front desk and asked what happened. They stated this was their tactic to get me to come downstairs and see them because my lunch bill was unpaid. Firstly, the bill was paid. In fact my entire stay was paid upfront so this could not be construed as some tactic to skip out on a cheap lunch. Secondly, this is the most unprofessional situation I have ever encountered in any hotel in the world. Why the staff woukd not simply call my room or knock on the door if the had a question? Why shut off my electricity and water? This was degrading and disgraceful behavior. When the power was shut down I was trying to take a conference call and the front desk had no sympathy and defended their actions. I would very much like a manager to contact me and make things right, assuming that is even possible.

Wonderful accomodations
The hotel staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean and had a nice view. The breakfasts were delicious. We were very satisfied with everything, especially the personal care from the staff. The location was good, however, you need transportation. If we ever come back to Vicenza, DaPorto would be our first choice of a hotel.

Nice room, good breakfast
Nice, clean room with easy parking and a really good breakfast. Fairly close to the old town. Nothing special, but well worth the price. I will probably stay here again next time.

Good Hotel with excellent staff!
The hotel is few minutes drive away from the fiera da Vicenza and about 10 min by taxi from station. We didn't look for bus route but I doubt there was any near by the hotel. The room size was ok and decor is slightly out dated. The shocking thing was, the hotel don't provide slippers for the room comparing to the money they charge, so take your own slippers. The jacket hanger will fall off in the middle of the night if your jacket is heavy. The room was nicely cleaned everyday. The staff was excellent, they provide great service to make sure you are happy as they allowed me to checkout one day early without charging me for the whole booking. overall experience was good!

Gentmi in riferimento alla mia prenotazione volevo esporre quanto successo Ho prenotato l’hotel su internet x un viaggio di lavoro. Al mio arrivo all’hotel verso le ore 19, mi e’ stato detto che si era verificato un problema, la mia camera non era disponibile e mi hanno indirizzato in un altro hotel Tale atlas hotel di fronte alla fiera di vicenza – (nome che mi e’ stato fornito dall’hotel dove ho prenotato) Al mio arrivo mi hanno dato una camera in uno scantinato senza finestre( in una sezione dell’hotel adiacente al corpo centrale) e con di lettini di ferro tipo campeggio Io non ho accettato la camera ed ho richiesto uno spostamento. Dato che era gia’ tardi ed ero molto stanca ho accettato la soluzione che mi hanno proposto, senza entusiasmo. Purtroppo non ho foto. Questo per denunciare quanto avvenuto La non serieta’ di alcune strutture che prendono i pagamenti via internet e rivendono le camere ad altri clienti Volevo informarvi perche’ comunque siete voi che poi vi esponete con il vs. nome Nel foglio della prenotazione c’era scritto che era tutto confermato e non era necessario confermare la camera, del resto basta la prenotazione .come ho sempre fatto Io ho lasciato nella prenotazione sia il mio cell. Che la mail, se l’hotel aveva problemi poteva avvisare prima del mio arrivo!
