About this property
Bedroom XVIII double bed, private bathroom and toilet, in house with garden.
- ACCOMMODATION:
A private room, quiet for a peaceful stay. Tranquility and sleep are what we experience every day and want to share them with travelers.
Your 17 m² room, in 13th century style, is furnished in the period and decorated with eleven authentic "old Master paintings" from the 17th to the 19th century. One of the paintings is a faithful reproduction (made in the 19th century) of Marie-Antoinette with a rose (18th century) painted by Elysabeth Vigée Lebrun, the original of which is at the Petit Trianon.
- An adjoining bathroom and separate WC next door are part of the rental. The whole is located on the 1st floor, accessible by a staircase, of our house from 1905. The bedroom window overlooks the quiet, wooded garden.
ARRIVALS ARE between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (otherwise contact us beforehand, if we can help!)
-EQUIPMENT
of the bedroom: 160x200 bed, a chest of drawers and two stylish bedside tables, a rack for clothes and bags, two armchairs including one "to fall asleep to" (from Maurice Chevalier's bedroom) and two chairs, A table for working , or for a snack.
An extra mattress for children (approximately under 12 years old) completes the equipment.
On the table: a thermos, a kettle, tea bags, soups, coffee and chocolate, two cups, two bowls and two spoons.
Breakfast is taken in the veranda or in the garden.
-BEDDING, cotton and organic:
mattress cover, top sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase everything is made of cotton. Summer duvets are made of feather and down. For the pillows, two with goose feather and down fillings, two (the “Dodo”) with shape memory.
Just in case: we add two hypollaergenic synthetic filling duvets.
-THE BATHROOM is equipped with three types of towels: 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 "wash cloths". -
- BREAKFAST: Our guests are invited to share our continental breakfast (there is rice soup for our Asian friends), in our Napoleon III style VERANDA which overlooks the garden. With a tray, they can also have breakfast in the garden in different places in the sun or in the shade.
The veranda is a space for rest and also for meals. equipped with coffee machine, toaster, microwave, kettle and a large table.
If our guests can also buy a snack outside and reheat it for a lunch or meal on site.
The veranda and garden are open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
-The GARDEN of 300m2, with dense vegetation, large trees (see photos): Linden trees, Robinia, Bamboo (numerous), Acer, Himalayan cedars, Plum tree, 4-season Mimosa, Eucalyptus, Mulberries etc.
This rental is aimed at people, in couples (with or without children up to approximately 12 years old), or alone, who aim to enjoy the calm, a relaxing atmosphere, while fully enjoying the life of Versailles ( castles, Trianon, gardens and park, restaurants, the famous market, various visits, Saint-Louis cathedral, tennis court etc.).
The smartest can use Versailles as a base for the night while also enjoying Paris (necessarily noisy) during the day. And thus enjoy the full nights,
