Because I had a service dog, we were put in an accessible room. The refrigerator still had someone else's food in it and the bathroom was dirty. The shower was full of black mold and in some areas the grout was put over the mold. The stay the week prior was a much cleaner room.

We stayed her one night over Labor Day weekend. The property was quiet, located on the edge of town, convenient to where we needed to be over the weekend. The room was very clean and nicely decorated.

It was alright but want to make others aware
Pool room was very hot, hotel shows they only allow 12 people in at a time for an hour each and also sent an email with this info after booking. We went and it was just the 3 of us for the first 5 minutes, then a group of 12 came in and another couple making a total of 17. We specifically picked this hotel due to only having 12 people in the pool at a time. Pictures showed they had protein options for breakfast, example- scrambled eggs, bacon, ham but they didn’t have any of that the 3 mornings we were there. Only hard boiled eggs so we were disappointed in the breakfast as well just since we were expecting different and wanted to make others aware.

Staff was good to work with and breakfast options were good. Beds were comfortable anf bathroom was extremely clean. Well lit outside and in a good and safe area. Only complaint was I found it pricey for what it was.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel. However they had some strange protocols for the pool. Limited to one hour, had to obtain pool key and we had to ask for towels. The light breakfast did include waffle and pancake but the rest was cereals, yogurt and fruit. This location in nothing spectacular but it was adequate.

Addressed an AC issue, otherwise a good hotel.
After one night, we had to ask to change rooms as the AC unit in our bedroom gave off a bad musty/mildew smell, like it had not been maintained in a very long while. The new room smelled fresh and clean and the AC was working fine. This is the first time in many years of travel I have ever had an issue like this. Both rooms were very clean and in good condition, otherwise. Bedding was comfortable and of materials that made not us sweat through the night (i.e., either a good polyblend with more natural fibers than plastic, or were a rare case of 100% cotton). Staff at the front desk was helpful and took care of the room change at once. I just wished they would say hello and acknowledge that customers are passing by in front of them (especially when the lobby is empty), instead of looking at their mobile phones. Isn't it their job to welcome guests, whether they are checking in/out or not? Maybe I am the only one caring about such things anymore.
