This hotel was an older building. There was not elevator and were made aware of that before booking. Being right on the canal there were issues with mosquitoes. We were made aware of that before booking but it was a little more than expected. The location was excellent, very close to the bus for airport connection and across the canal from the train station. There are lots of places to eat but I think I would stay elsewhere on my next trip to Venice.

The hotel was clean but old and could use some upgrades. The sheets were very clean but the mattress was uncomfortable. The breakfast was pretty good. AC worked so/so. The shower is too small. Cleanliness was good.

Bad service upon arrival, it felt like we were an inconvenience for them ( morning staff) only. Room was awful, air conditioning was not working, no one around to fix it(8 hours to find out we had to change buildings after a hot day of exploring. Afternoon staff was great in trying to help us. Room was awful, dirty, smells, mold. We have been to Venice 3 times now by far worst experience. Pictures of hotel on hotels. com are so far from the truth! Then trying to reach some for a refund was impossible!

Great location in Venice. Close to the train station. The receptionist was friendly but our check in was delayed by the manager. Great breakfast. My room was big and elegant. I loved it.

Great location very close the bus station (Piazzale Roma) on the grand canal. The hotel is a bit worn but has lots of charm. the room and bathroom were large. there was a fan for air conditioning and windows that open (not surprising for Europe). the only complaint was no hot water in the morning for a shower.

There was a picture of the room when we made our reservation, and we could tell it was the room directly above the lobby. However, when we arrived just after midnight, the receptionist booked us in, and then walked us blocks away to another building. We had our family, bags, and a wheelchair, and there was a non-wheelchair-friendly bridge at the edge of each of those 'blocks.' So, this was not the great end to a long and painful travel day (the airlines lost four of our five bags). The room was clean, and it also faced the canal. However, we had specifically booked a room with air conditioning. This room has air conditioning, but it barely work. So, it was the same as not having air conditioning. The biggest disappointment was the front desk staff. The airlines finally delivered our lost luggage two days later, but the front desk didn't tell us. Good thing we had Apple AirTags! Then, when asking for info to get around town, and to get to our Cruise pickup location, the two front desk staff barely seemed interested. We asked for the best option to get to our destination. Is the bus better? Or water taxi? Or...? They said, 'sure.' Ugh! Luckily, there were other tourists on the street that were more helpful!

This property is not what you expect. no air conditioning Very old and out dated Falling apart Bathroom had mould on shower curtain that was half hanging off stains on the wall cracks in the shower. they need to do abit of TLC and it could be a nice property. it is walking distance to alot of places.

A Quaint Hotel
The hotel is situated on the Grand Canal. It is near the train station. The room was very comfortable. The hotel could use a facelift.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! on arriving requested inspection of the room which smelt of Tabacco and there was mould and water damage on the ceiling. The room was dark and dingy. The entry was down the side of the Hôtel separate from the reception area. We asked for a room change but were told there were no rooms available so we offered pay for 1 nights accommodation as cancellation of our booking however this was not accepted. We lost 3 nights of accommodation and rebooked elsewhere. Look elsewhere as this is barely a 1 star property

We had to move out after one night because there was no working air conditioning and we had bug bites all over due to leaving the windows open. The rooms smelt heavily of mold, mildew, or perfumes, which may have attracted all the bugs. We initially thought it might be bed bugs. Still don’t know if it might be. This hotel is similar to a camping ground than a hotel in Venice. Very disappointed. Wish I could get my money back for the night we didn’t stay there.

Double bed in a single room was not comfortable for 2 people. Bed sheets barely covered the top of the bed and a/c controls are destroyed so not usable. If the room size had been adequate it would have been more tolerable. Had to turn the bed sheet sideways so two poeple could have a little, an experience!
