It was clean and people were friendly. It was a little dark and gloomy inside. Could use a few updates to brighten the property. Also 3 flights to move luggage is a lot.

This is a wonderful small hotel, truly unique and perfect for Venice. We were comfortable and the location couldn’t have been better. I would come back here.

Amazing Venice stay
Very clean, easy check-in, and they’re very flexible. Highly recommended. Only downside is it’s a bit hard to find but that is nice for privacy. Doors aren’t very soundproof so just be aware of that.

Excellent location, good place to stay
Excellent location just a few minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. There isn't really any sign outside but you get directions with which it's ok to find. The owner very nice and helpful, though the reception hours are currently rather limited (9am to 3pm or so) - I was able to handle everything within that timeframe. The room was better than I expected, the bathroom is modern and well equipped. The furniture is rather old - or traditional, depending on how you look at it, and there are plenty of pictures hanging everywhere which, again depending on your view, are artsy or creepy.. There was a constant noise from some sort of generator somewhere near so I needed eaeplugs even if the location looks fairly quiet. Overall, this was a very well located, nice place and for me was a good value when visiting Venice.

Great Location at a Very Affordable Price!
This was our second stay. You cannot beat the location--an easy walk to S. Marco and the Fenice Theatro. We were in a just renovated room with a window view of the street and the many shops. The hotel managers were very accommodating and friendly. The A/C worked fine, and there was plenty of room to store our stuff. The hotel manager made a couple of great restaurant recommendations. Ca'Pedrocchi is a wonderful place to stay while exploring one of the eight wonders of the modern world!

The guest house was quaint. A 300-year old house converted into a guest house. The location was very convenient and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Follow directions, easy to find. Don't take heavy bags, stairs only. Small rooms but comfortable. Unfortunately we had a bit of a mozzie issue but we did leave window open for fresh air. Great central location.

Good location- just a few streets from San Marco. Proprietor was very helpful with directions. Room was clean, small but adequate, however bathroom needed serious renovations (shower door came off track, toilet seat not secure, shower faucet fell off...) Excellent location with over-priced accommodations.
