Our rooms had bed bugs. We did end up getting moved to rooms that did not have bed bugs. Free breakfast tokens were given to "compensate".

BUILDINGS: A&O Venezia Mestre and A&O Venezia Mestre 2 are of different buildings yet they're just adjacent. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Around 10 mins walk to Mestre Train Station where the bus also located going to Old Venice. Fare of €1.50 single & €3.00 Return, can be used either bus or train. Would suggest to buy the €25.00 Day Ticket for unlimited rides to bus, train and boat within Venice. BREAKFAST: €9.65 per adult and half below 18yo. Not as good as other budget hotels we stayed yet better deal still. Be reminded to claim the tokens if you avail of this service otherwise you might could end up having an argument while eating. AIR CONDITIONING: We do asked for this during our stay and told it's not functional during winter season thus ends up opening our windows at night. RECEPTION: Busy as only one person multi-tasking between check-ins and the Bar service. CLEANLINESS. They just empty the rubbish bins in the toilet and the other close to door/mirror, all others not cared for. Well, don't expect from a hostel, do we? Also, dust is noticeable from the time we checked-in. EXTRAS: No kettle in the room however can get free hot water at the ground floor. People working at the reception were good though.

Italy requires everyone including children to show ID to check in into a hotel. Nothing the hotel can do, but it did made me fell uncomfortable sharing so much info about my kids with a hotel.

Location was very good. just a few minutes walk to bus/ train stations, supermarket, and some local restaurants. The hostel was very busy but staff were generally friendly. Breakfast was a good deal. The main issue was the room itself. It was not very sound proof but the other lodgers generally behaved well. The mattress and pillows were hostel quality so do not expect anything like hotel. The bedsheets very thin with some holes....Bathroom was not very clean with some stains on the toilet and shower room had some mould, which were not very pleasant. As there are quite a number of modern / budget hotels around, next time I will pay a little bit more for a better stay.....

A bit slow at check in. On a road with multiple hotels, less than 5min walk to train and bus station so very easy to get into Venice and to airport. We paid around €8.50 for a buffet breakfast just on one day- good choice of drinks with small pancake machine, cereals, boiled eggs, cold meats and cheeses so good selection. There’s a cafe and shop across the road and a couple of restaurants nearby which was handy, though not really much to Mestre itself. Room was clean and had wardrobe, small table and stools with really good shower

Great location, about 6 minute walk to Mestre Train Station and then 10 mins on the train to Venice Saint Lucia. Stayed in a twin room with private bathroom and everything was lovely. Clean and spacious and the check in was smooth. There was long queues about 15:30 so I would advise getting there for 15:00 to check in.

If you are on budget stay hotel like this in Mestre is good choice. You can take train or bus to go to the island with 1.5 euro.

Close to the train station & reasonably priced. Beautiful room and bathroom too. The one thing i did not like was the metal bed. I broke my middle toes on the middle bed legs. You usually dont expect a bed to have them in the middle. They should have been covered so you dont get hurt. Long lines too for check in. Otherwise very nice.

Great place!
Was amazing, the place is nice and clean, this is a hostel with hotel rooms. Very good size room, easy to check in and also it's very close to the train station to Venice, we love our stay. We also arrive early, they let us leave our luggage there until our check in time, its like a small warehouse where everybody leave their stuff, but everything was exactly how we left it. I will definitely will book here again! Even for the hostel! It's a nice place. They also have a bar and lockers in the same building if you want to keep your belongings a little more safe.
