The breakfast, or so called breakfast was very poor, no bread, no milk, no juice, only a automatic machine for coffee and chocolate, and a few supermarket croissants, and that's it.
This hotel was good for the money. The hotel says they are 8 minutes from Venice but they must mean to the city limits of Venice because it took 45 minutes to get there by bus. The lady at the desk spoke good English and was very helpful with finding the bus station and telling us where to get tickets. There is a pizza place across the street and a grocery store a half a mile away. No air conditioning though. We went in may and it was really hot, so hot that we kept the door and window open.

Travels with a Budget
Staff was acomadating to me. It is a small Hotel and very few staff members. Not really close to Venize. You have to get a bus from Dolo near by town just a walk away. It takes 25 minutes to get there. I did enjoy my stay there it was affordable. I wasnt expecting a 5star hotel for my budget so I rated it ok. Will deffinetly stay there again they have monthly rates and will consider next time I visit Italy.

The hotel is 20mins walk to the bus stop, from there you have to take a bus to the city which take another 30-45mins. Very time consuming. But the hotel staff are friendly and hotel is clean. You might need to rent a car if you are staying in this hotel
This hotel was miserable top to bottom! It was SOOO far from ANYTHING it's ridiculous. It says it's in the "Center of the city" and it isn't even in the middle of the tiny obscure city it's in! I have no idea why it pops up under a search for "Venice, Italy." It couldn't be any further. There is no way to get there other than bus to train. The city it's in (Dolo) is so small that the bus doesn't run often so you really can't come and go if you want. It is in the smallest city ever with NO internet. NOTHING. It felt like a small town in the twilight zone where you're completely cut off from civilization. It took and entire day to get to the hotel and I felt so depressed staying in obscurity, I checked out after 1 night and forfeited the remainder of my pre-paid stay. The room was so far from the "3-stars" it was listed as. It was like a Motel 6 in America. I was so miserable there and ended up paying double and staying at a hostile in Venice rather than this "3-star hotel."
This hotel is located in a beautiful, clean neighborhood, right off the main road.
It is located 5 minutes away from the Dolo-Mirano exit off A4 highway.
Very clean well maintained with welcoming helpful staff. If you have a hire car it is easy to get to Dolo railway station which has free parking. Venice is about 30 min away but you have to be careful not to miss trains in and out. Trains can sometimes be cancelled- be careful announcements are easy to miss.
Hotel staff helpfully provide time tables and advice.
Restaurant opposite hotel open till late hours.
My satnav however pointed out a completely different part of Venice when I used postcode but had to check street.
The Hotel Antille is not located in the famous Venice city, so don't expect to look at the canals from your window. However, I will admit that it was nice to stay at this hotel because it is near Dolo, which appeared to be a small suburb on the Italian mainland. The area is nice, safe, and most importantly far from the crowds of tourists in Venice. The Hotel Antille is close enough to Venice so that one can get to it by bus from the Dolo bus stop as long as one is willing to walk a bit.
The hotel is clean and overall comfortable. The downsides? The internet was not working during my stay, but if you can live without that for a few days then you're fine. Also, breakfast is NOT included during your stay. It costs 4 euros per person.
Hotel fine
Comfort fine
IT IS NOT ANYWHERE NEAR VENICE...
It is in Dolo which is the real name for the town not Cazzago Di Pianiga, which appears to be a local area.
WHERE?
Dolo
Where's that?
The hoteliers in Venice-Mestre have never heard of it... apart from the one who sent me to Padova- 40 km down the autostrada.
The hotel in Padova told me to drive back to Mestre... there is a turn off the autostrada if you can spot it near midnight, when you have been driving for 4 hours since you left Mestre.
Nothing wrong with the hotel if you like Dolo...
Little point if you are visiting Venice.
I would recommend staying at this hotel as long as the weather is cool. We stayed in the summer and it was very hot and stuffy and miserable. The air conditioning was very inadequate! The first night we didn't sleep at all because it was so hot. The AC ran all day and they gave us a fan for the second night and it was tolerable, but still hot. That was our only complaint...other than that, it was a good place to stay and reasonably priced.
Convenient location for visiting Venice, but if you've got a car. Train station is relatively close, and it has nice free parking, therefore giving you easy and cheap mean of geting to Venice.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, hotel is not realy up to date but nice anyway. On the down side, breakfast was not included and very expesive for what it offered. I recomend a restaurant across the street for pizzas.
Exactly as advertised, great value and nice area, though car or willingness to walk for public transport necessary for access to Venice.
1.5 km to train station then 15 mins to Venice SLucia( last train back 10pm beware) , 2km to bus station 45 mins to Piazzale Roma, taxi 5 mins to both a tad pricy at 15 euro. If you miss train or bus home Taxi from Venice 48 euro.
Very friendly staff, no bar or restaurant but very good pizzeria just across the road.
Highly recommend for couples, groups etc, perhaps not ideal for families.
Ciao.
This was a nice Hotel, it had a nice cheap restuarant right across the road, but its not in the best location. We did not realise it was not in Venice- so when we put address in Sat Nav there was another street with the same name that it kept trying to take us to. We eventually phoned hotel who explained they were in a small village outside of Venice so it was not the best experience trying to find hotel. If you have a car- its ok- there is a train station near by where you can leave your car and get the train into venice- but without a car it would not be a great place to stay.

I liked it. Functional
It was 25 min from Venice so plan to rent a car. Dolo is a very cute town and is a nice place to visit on its own. The hotel could have been cleaner but overall it was fine. This is not honeymoon material but if you want a place to sleep and don't care about luxury, then I would recommend this place. I would go back for sure. Easy drive to nearby attractions. We drove and saw Prosecco vinyards and Villa Di Pisani, all which were close enough by car.
I had a bad experience during my stay at the hotel, the air conditioning did not work at it was about 94, TV did not work either. Eventhought I reported it to the housekeeper and frontdesk they did not take any action. The breakfast was bad bad bad.
