I don't understand why they shut down the electricity and do construction before check-out time. By the way, the construction time is from 8:30 AM to 2 PM. I would like to be compensated for leaving early.

Overall a great stay
The room was clean and comfortable it just needs to be updated. The TV remote wasn’t working and my husband went downstairs and they gave him a different one which wasn’t working either which wasn’t a huge deal for us as we never really watch TV anyway. Important to know too is that this Holiday Inn does not offer breakfast. I thought I had booked a hotel with breakfast included but must have misread or just assumed all Holiday Inns do. There’s a restaurant adjacent to the Hotel that offer breakfast and you get a 10% discount from the hotel to use towards a breakfast purchase.
