Great place to stay before cruise
Great place to stay in north Vancouver. The home was quiet and beautifully appointed with everything we needed and more prior to setting sale on a cruise. Despite close location to the freeway, it was very quiet with an awesome mattress to provide very restful sleeps. Excellent location within walking distance to Safeway and a variety of restaurants. Howie was kind and accommodating. Would absolutely stay again.

Great place, highly recommended!
This was the perfect place to stay for my husband and I on our trip to Vancouver. Howie was a great host. He greeted us on arrival and showed us the accommodation. He also gave us info about the surrounding area. The place was spacious and immaculate. It had everything we needed and more. Howie has thought of everything. Being in north Vancouver, it was very close to Grouse Mountain and Lynn Canyon. You can also easily catch the Seabus ferry from Lonsdale Quay across to the Waterfront in Vancouver.

A Rare Find
Not only was this a lovely property with a gorgeous backyard and a friendly, helpful host who goes out of his way to make sure you are superbly comfortable, it had an advantage which is hard to find in most other properties, the ability to bring your bikes or e-bikes and store them securely in a locked garage when not in use.

Perfectly central for our Cidery Tours!
Our getaway accommodation was perfect. Kitchen was fully equipped like home, living area and bedrooms very comfortable, bathroom has all the necessities in case you forgot something! It was so lovely to stay in an accommodation that felt like home! Central for day trips to the Sunshine Coast, Bowen Island and Squamish. Howie is an excellent host! Great property and location
Our host Howie was super gracious and caring. His property is at a location perfect for our plans. The property has much more amenities than a more expensive hotel room. It is in a quiet neighborhood and is very convenient for getting around and has great restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay there again for our next visit to Vancouver.

Lovely experience
This is a lovely property, located extremely convenient and close to Vancouver's attractions. Sparkling clean and relatively new, offers all you need for short or long term stay. It is quiet, even if close to Highway 1. There are not hotels who offer what this location offers. Howie, the host was really helpful and accommodating. We loved it and will go back when in Vancouver.

If you want to stay in luxury and be treated very hospitably, this is the place! This beautiful suite is located in a lovely neighborhood in North Vancouver. Host Howie is an excellent communicator, readily answers questions, gives recommendations and eager to serve your every need. Weekend Getaway
We spent 3 nights at Howie’s Retreat. He is a marvellous host. Warm, welcoming and personable. The unit itself is spacious, comfortable and clean. There is not a single thing that Howie has not provided for your comfort. If it isn’t there, you don’t need it. If anything isn’t right, he will go out of his way to fix it in a timely manner. Nothing is too much trouble. The decor is lovely too. A real home away from home. A perfect little nest for when you are not out exploring the area. Great place, great guy!
