Upon arrival the room that was given to us was dirty and had not ben serviced. The reservation was made ahead of schedule and there was no reason for this inconvenience.

Nice property. Room nice and clean. The grounds out front were.undergoing rehab. Remaining grounds had grass but dont now. Cant tell if its being redone or decided to let.it go.

The staff was very friendly. However the room we were given had several problems: Direct Tv guide never worked on the remote despite having the front desk come and look at it. The telephone in the room didn't have a cord to call the front desk with a problem. The cord was missing. The tv screen was really dirty. The sink in the bathroom was stuck in the closed position and would not lift with the lever so my husband had to use a pocket knife to pry it up to drain water. The shower door had a plastic piece that needed repair so water didn't leak when taking a shower. It leaked. There was hair still on the shower floor. When the front desk woman came to fix the tv remote she said she would give us a discount. That never happened. I've never stayed at a Hampton Inn that had any problems like these. Bed was comfortable. Room was a little small but that was ok. Didn't try the breakfast. If passing through town again we'd probably stay somewhere else hoping for a better maintained room.

they currently are under a major construction remodel. The hotel is limited to the single floor. it is an old but clean hotel
